T Minus 13 Hours

The bags are packed! We have 13 hours until we hit the road for the airport, heading off for Thailand. It is unbelievable to think that three months ago I was writing my first blog post talking about my feelings before the lecture phase. In a way, it went by very slowly. However, in retrospect it was gone in a flash.

The absolute biggest thing I learned in the three month lecture phase is that God conquers all. We all had to seriously take a look at ourselves and work out our issues. While at the same time learning everything we possibly could about God, His character, His word, and His will. We asked and expected much of Him, and He never once failed to deliver. I came into this not knowing what to expect, and am coming out a completely different person than I started. God conquered every problem I came to Him with, and I have learned more about Him in three months than I ever thought I would learn in my whole life. I can honestly say that these last three months have been the most pivotal and revolutionary months of my life.

That being said, our team is now ready to go out and bring light to dark places! We are the city on a hill that cannot be hidden, a lamp that will not be put out. We have an itinerary for our trip, but at the same time we have no idea what to expect. What we do know is that God moves in extraordinary ways, and we are going to be spending way too much time together. We are ready as we can be, but most likely not prepared at all. This is a big trip with lots of surprises, so it will be 8 weeks (6 for Seth and I!) of rolling with the punches and being super flexible.

Thank you so much for all of your support! Next time you hear from me, I will be in Thailand! Love you all!

Bored Out of My Mind

Alright. Well, we are now on an off week with nothing to do. We leave for Thailand on Tuesday, so now we wait. I am very very ready to go, everyone is.

This weekend is Canada day! I am so excited! My Canada shirt is out and ready. We have a whole weekend planned, which is awesome. However we still have three days to kill. What to do? I don't know.

My mom came to visit the bustling town of medicine hat, and we had a lovely time. Seth and I showed her the things to do here (teepee, movies, and bowling), it took about a day. It was a lot of fun though and I wouldn't have chosen any other send off.

All I know is I am ready to go! We have an intense schedule for the six weeks I am there, however Seth and I are missing the touring and beach portion of the trip as I have to move.

Thanks for the support! Hello Thailand!

Two Weeks Left!

Well, we are drawing near to Thailand, we are down to two weeks left until we leave. Just about anyway, give or take a day. I am very happy though, I will be here for Canada Day! It's like Canadian fourth of July with little carnivals and fireworks, it should be awesome!

Next week one of the women from International House of Prayer is coming for two two days, and to show her new film Nafarius. I'm assuming that's how it is spelled. We will be working in part with women and children trapped in human trafficking, so it is fitting we would watch this considering it is a relevant, honest and modern look into human trafficking. I am so looking forward to it.

Things have been great around here lately, however I think it's safe to say everyone is just ready for it to be July third already! We have a 20 hour plane flight there, not including layovers. Holy cow, we will be stir crazy. Outside of school affairs Seth and I celebrated a year together today, and it was so fun! I am looking forward to more! It was a wonderful week!

Some food for thought, recently I have been digging into the sermon on the mount, specifically Matthew 5:14 and 15 "You are the light of the world, a city on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but puts it on a lamp stand so it may shine to all those in the house." this verse has been inspiring me not so much to be a light on a global scale, which is important, but more to be a light to those I am in closer proximity to. Show those I am not on great terms with that I love them and care about their well being, and make sure I am always working to brighten my loved ones' days and have them know how much I love and cherish them, and also know the magnitude of God's love for them. I love this verse! I wish I could say more but it's too much to type and I'm tired.

I love you all! Thank you for the love and support!

Sorry This Took So Long!!

Alright, so admittedly I have taken WAY too long to post something on here. Things have gotten somewhat overwhelming around here, but things are calming down and we are gearing up for Thailand! Yay!

Well, since my last post we have had about 4 weeks of teaching here. We are currently in Revival week, which is turning into more of learning how to live a "Sermon on the Mount Lifestyle." The two walk hand in hand, but I am happy with what the topic is turning into. Since my last post we have covered Prophecy, Prophetic Evangelism, Tabernacle of David, and End Times. Definitely a difficult line-up, but I'm alive. This is very hard, but it's supposed to be. Though now the excitement of Thailand being so close is making everything pick up!

We have started weekly meetings to get ready for Thailand. So far what we know is that we are staying in Chiang Rai at a Bible Training Center. In the mornings we are teaching classes to the pastors-to-be at the college, doing four open-air meetings for up to 1,000 people at each, working with women and children trapped in the sex slave industry, and holding pastors meetings. All of us have to teach on various topics, I am looking at most likely doing prophetic activation which should be a lot of fun! Thank you Sammy Robinson, he basically gave me all of my content for this teaching.

I have an interesting story from our prophetic evangelism week, something pretty great happened with hearing God's voice. I will be posting a video telling the story as it is far too long to type, but it was a pretty great experience. The video is about 10 minutes long, but you can skip the first part because it is just bringing you up to date on things.

Thank you for your support! Love!
